If you’ve experienced a blizzard or a snow storm, then you’re well acquainted with a white out – I have. Or, if you’re a Penn State fan and attended a football game, then you know their version of a white out. Well, this is a completely different type of white out all together. This is a nursing stool white out.

Now, and rightfully so, you’re wondering what a nursing stool is. There’s no need to worry if you haven’t read our previous posts about the nursing stool. The nursing stool is obviously to help the new mother with the essential task of nursing so that while she’s interacting with her baby she can leave the work of rest and stress relief to this helpful and beautiful piece of furniture.

The same holds true for the woman who doesn’t need to rest her legs or for stress relief for anything other than the above-stated primary purpose. You know how you feel when you come home from a long, hard day and you just need to or want to sit down and let all your worries float away. Just walk in the door, sit down and let the nursing stool do the rest.

Baby Plush Toys Are Perfect for Cute Babies

4 baby plush toyI know babies can be a handful, but luckily they’re also really cute. When I helped my sister take care of her kid, I really did have a fun time. I got to play with the baby with appropriate toys and I got to see the silly faces her kid makes when they’re trying to eat. But all in all, I think kids are worth it. I plan on having my own kids later down the line.

But for now, I’m happy helping my sister out. I have baby plush toys just for her kid. I made sure to choose ones that are perfect for babies, since they love to chew on just about everything. My sister’s baby’s favorite toy is probably a rattle that has a ring and a baby-friendly plush. It’s a bright owl that’s super cute and very soft.

When I have my own kids, I’ll know exactly how to take care of them since I take care of my sister’s kid from time to time. I’m learning valuable information about babies just by helping my sister out. I’m also getting more and more excited to take care of kids. I think I’ve finally found my calling, and it’s a good thing.

Learning the Fun Way with Melissa and Doug Puzzles

2 puzzlesI love seeing my child learn when he plays. I think it’s the best way to learn, since playing with a toy or a game entices the child more than studying papers and doing worksheets. While my kid is still a toddler, I think more kids should learn through playing with toys and fun games. My kid really likes puzzles, so I always make sure to get some for him to play with.

I think his favorites have got to be the Melissa and Doug puzzles. They’re great puzzles for little kids that just want to have fun. I like how bright and colorful they are, and how they have a lot of fun shapes and such. Some of the puzzles have pictures on the pieces, like cute animals. I think my kid just loves how friendly the puzzles seem to him.

And what’s great about my kid playing with Melissa and Doug puzzles is he’s learning as he plays around with them. He’s learning about animals, shapes, and different types of vehicles. I think it’s great that my kid can learn while having a fun time with puzzles. These puzzles are also great for developing spatial orientation, as well

Melissa and Doug Toys Are Great Learning Toys for Kids

3 kid with toysI think kids are curious for a reason. They thirst for knowledge from the world. Since they don’t quite understand everything yet, they want to find out more, and that can get them into trouble. That’s why it’s so important to keep kids occupied with good toys that help them learn. Children really should be learning while they play, so they don’t have to get too curious and find themselves getting into trouble.

So when I was testing toys with my kid, I could really tell which things were good and which things were uninteresting. I’ve found my kid to have the most satisfaction with Melissa and Doug toys. They’re great learning toys that help teach kids of all ages. So while my kid is still considered a baby, I think they’ll still be interested in Melissa and Doug toys later down the line, too.

I’m just glad I have a way of keeping my kid out of trouble. If they didn’t have these toys, they would probably be getting into everything. You just never know with babies that can crawl. They’ll crawl right into trouble if you’re not too careful. But my kid really likes learning and playing with toys, so it’s been pretty peaceful around here.

A Rocking Chair Rocks My Baby to Sleep

1 little babyHaving a new baby brings all sorts of challenges. I wonder how I’ll soothe my baby, and how I’ll be able to comfort her as much as possible. But luckily, my baby is pretty easy to soothe. When I rested in a chair with my baby, I could tell she was happy about it. I rocked back and forth in the chair with my baby, and my baby fell asleep shortly afterward.

I think a rocking chair just has a certain effect on children. The way it gently rocks a child is just soothing and helps them sleep better. My new baby is no different, and I’m glad she really likes the feeling of being in the rocking chair. I don’t mind being in it, myself. It’s just nice to feel like my bond with my child is strengthening as I rock her quietly to sleep.

It really is nice when you know your child is quietly asleep and drifting off into dreamland. I think having peace and quiet is lovely, and my baby is healthier if she gets enough rest for her rapidly growing body. It’s important for babies to get lots of sleep, so I’m glad I have a means of getting what my baby needs with ease.

Artistic Adventures with a Melissa&Doug Friendship Stamp Set

It’s important for creativity to thrive, so I make sure my kids have art sets and stamps and such so they can always have a means of doing something artistic. I leave it all in an accessible place so they can play with them when they want to.

Most of the time, I see my kids playing with the Melissa&Doug friendship stamp set. It’s a set that has lots of cute stamps, like hearts and rainbows. It also comes with some colored pencils, so kids can learn about mixed media art projects. I think colored pencils and stamps really do go well together. That way, kids can color in the stamps with different colors if they want. It becomes both a stamping project and a coloring and drawing project.

I know it’s important for kids to have the ability to express themselves. Some like to do it in very artistic ways, so parents really do need to watch out for that. It’s important for kids to feel comfortable to be able to be themselves, so they need the means to get their creative sides out. That’s why I think having art sets for them is so important.

In addition to the animals forming the letters of the alphabet art, you will find more than a few of the letters are represented by everyday objects which the kids can also learn about them and how they work into their lives. Not only can alphabet art teach your children about letters and how they can be turned into words, but, they can be used in this case to teach the art of the letters.
